It'd be nice if they brought back the Ishinomori manga for "A Link to the Past", but Nintendo is stubborn about a re-release.

How ironic. I sold both volumes for the exact title that is pictured in the article on Ebay a little while ago. Still it's a great opportunity for Zelda fans who also read manga.

That'll sell lots, and it will certainly attract more gamers. More Zelda is always a good thing! =D

Hopefully the Legend Of Zelda fanbase hasn't decreased. Legend of Zelda is a excellent series, but in modern times, less and less young people know this title.
If only Viz Media would license any Dragon Quest title, either Emblem of Roto or Dai's Big Adventure, we'd be golden.
Though I doubt that will happen, but this Zelda manga is from the same era as DQ, so one never knows.

Awesome...the only volume I own is Ocarina of Time vol. 2. It'll be nice to get the rest of the books, and finally know what they're saying in OoT vol. 2.

Ah, the Ishinomori comic. A great time to subscribe to Nintendo Power magazine.

Very cool! I love the Zelda manga and it's great to know they're finally coming to America. I own the two for Ocarina of Time.

About damn time! I was wondering who would pick this up... and thus my imported copies would be neglected.

I'm trying to figure out what Zelda comic I have. If I could find it....it had chapters and its none of the books i've seen.
But this is great though. Now if only I could find another copy of the OoT Prima Guide that said Epona tasted like chicken...my friend would flip.

Those strategy guide creators sure have time on their hands. Epona tasting like chicken, legendary quote indeed.

WOW, that's totally unexpected. I think I've seen this manga before a friend of mine has it. Cause I'm trying to remember if one of the artists for the anthology was 'Ryuusuke Mita' ['Dragon Half', now there's a comic that should be ported over]. I'll be able to confirm it.
But that's awesome. It's nice to see some of the game mangas make it over. But didn't expect an anthology that's almost 8 years old get ported. Again it's nice to see some of the companies release some of the more obscure type works.

Zelda didn't contain any nipples or nudity did it?
Nothing Viz would ruin?

That would be great to see back in circulation. The artwork was fine (no surprise considering the mangaka) and the story had a good balance of humor and action.
I didn't think that the LoZ manga would ever show up here, especially not under Nintendo's wing. What I have read was pretty good and as faithful as one could get with a story-based interpretation of a video game, not to mention in manga-form.
