Yay! This is one of my favorite trashy popcorn isekai, the manga is particularly fun.

I never heard of this before, but for what is worth, this trailer does look good.

From the trailer alone it feels like Bandai Film Works/Sunrise is throwing an awful lot of money at what would normally be your fairly standard isekai junk food. Not complaining, it looks cool. You just normally don't see this genre get a lot of big budget series. Jobless Reincarnation being the big outlier what with an entire studio being founded just to produce the anime adaptation of it.

When does the status of an assassin not-so obviously exceed the status of a hero?

I can answer this since I went and read the manga chapters that are out so far. Status in this case doesn't refer to social status. Its Akira's literal stats that exceed the stats of the hero (and everyone else in his class for that matter). There's something of a driving mystery as to why his stats are so much higher because he doesn't even know. Only a few hints have been given so far as to the nature of his unique existence. spoiler[Like him potentially not even being a human so its possible he's a double isekai protagonist.]
