Ep7-Well this show has done one unique thing at least, the protag actually got beat by the a*hole baddie! Couldn't come up with a clever last minute use of a skill or other angle from "left field" to win, he is just down for the count. Not that he will stay that way because he has a friend that will make him something that gives him an edge next week...
 I can't remember a time or show where this has occurred though...
Now, since I'm all about engagement, I don't watch this show for any sort of "wish fulfillment" or "ego boost" but I started watching simply to see what the premise was and stayed because the characters were mildly engaging and to see how far a "never say die" attitude would take them. Other than the skill fruit element and Mother Superior as a background antagonist it isn't terribly original and is likely a "one and done" show but I am enjoying it despite the "meager" artwork quality. Another possible reason for watching is I like to watch at least one anime a day during the week and this one is Tuesday's and nothing I like better airs today. If you ask me, a show more fitting the criticism is "I Left my A-rank Party..." and I am not watching that despite better artwork |

Man, they sure were taking their time to make that sword. You'd never guess Light was out there fighting for his life and clearly getting the snot kicked out of him, the way they were joking around in the shop. And how did those guys get out of the copper sheets? Did they have tinsnips in their back pocket?

I could use Dr Stone mode and say if they tried really, really hard and the sheet stretched and got thin enough, it would tear...Of course, what they showed of those sheets's thickness they would had to have had hydraulic press legs so...as they said in Tanya the Evil "Deus lo Vult"
