The show keeps impressing me. It is rare to get an episode about the work that a character does and showing their struggles and worries so well. In most shows the actual office work is relegated to some brief moments and is usually not all that interesting either. Meanwhile episode 6 was exciting even if it was pretty much all about the work (it did show how supportive Tateishi is).

I've not watched any of this show, so I have no context to the question. But I would assume phone sex isn't too big a deal in Japan, considering how expansive their porn industry is and the fact that they're already really famous for having extravagant love hotels.

The main couple cannot get together for a couple of weeks due to extracurricular work activities, so the suggestion is made to be "lovey-dovey" over the phone (phone sex per other context), but the call is terminated before anything can happen due to embarrassment. So my question was really relating to whether this level of embarrassment would be normal? Hopefully the love hotels are better than Wake Up, Girls! idol group's namesake! |
