I’m reminded of the SAO adaptation that never got made.

Although this does seem like it’d be a perfect Netflix fit, given how they’re grabbing K-dramas like nobody’s business.

I would like it if Netflix can get this only they're also allowed to put the anime on there too for cross-promotion I mean Netflix is able to get My Hero Academia (the 1st 4 seasons, and the 2 films) on their sites from Crunchyroll. Also, given that Crunchyroll used to had K-dramas on their website before K-drama became cool amongst the mainstream and before Sony/Aniplex bought out CR and focus exclusively on anime. It would be a nice change if Sony can allow Crunchyroll to pick up the live-action K-drama adaptation given CR's past with K-dramas.

Honestly not sure hwo well this could adapt to live-action because I feel like the fights and the obvious CG would come up lacking compared to the anime.

It can work but I would love it if they can get a western partner so they can have the budget to do hollywood level CG.
