That was a solid first episode and pretty charming at times. That said, it is the type of show that can become repetitive fairly quickly if there are not enough elements thrown into the mix. You can only have so many moments of acting mean to each other or secretly holding hands after all. The premise is also a bit weird in that the relationship (not crush) is both adult yet childish at the same time. Having sex does not seem to be an issue yet using a first name seemingly is. I also have to wonder if all the sneaking around is worth it but that depends on how their company handles office relationships I suppose.

I was half toying with checking this out after initially not having it on my list, but your post, smurky, convinces me there would be no point. Thanks for saving me time!

Well, I was not trying to be too negative about the show but right now it feels like another one of those. It is only the first episode though.

Is the name of this show "Can You Keep a Secret?" or "I Have a Crush at Work"? Maybe we should stick with Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu?
Assume no one has licensed this for the USA/Canada? |

Crush just does not make sense. It could just be me, but when you say crush I think of a not yet relationship but having the disire to have something intimate/romantic with a specific person. In the show the couple are sleeping over, having sex, going on dates while keeping it hidden at work, that is a hidden relationship.

Shouldn't you check it out anyway? The worst that can happen is that you waste 30 minutes. |

The problem is that these days my soul dies a little every time I have doubts about a title, sample it and have those doubts confirmed. I just prefer to skip that experience.

@Beltane - see, you're missing the beauty of the system that Blood has worked out.
Step 1 - Find some unsuspecting suckers whose anime tastes generally run in the same direction as yours. Step 2 - Identify several anime that these friends missed while they were just checking out anime they were interested in like normal people. Step 3 - convince these friends to give almost all anime at least one episode, citing things like hidden gems, the joy of unexpected surprises, the sad fate or original anime that go undiscovered, etc. Step 4. - Shake well and wait for ingredients to mix. Step 5 - Step back, citing the need for an anime cleanse/fast. Step 6 - Let your friends be your anime landmine detectors ::::mimes putting hands over ears and stomping enthusiastically::::: while sampling all the trash anime out there, then sit back and read their reactions so that you can keep your hip waders clean and dry in the closet.. Step 7 - Walk away from the process, and as you leave, your limp gradually disappears and your palsied hand uncurls and a smirk appears on your face. Was that Kaiser Souza reference too obscure? Maybe I should go with Dr. Evil? wink: The point is, by the time you realize you've fallen into a trap (sob), it's too late... (Now let's see, what's on the schedule for today...ah, yes, Magic Maker Isekai...) |

I am glad that the second episode managed to be more than the repetition of two adults secretly fidgeting and blushing at work. The show is also about the actual office work and it is nice to see other characters be involved in that. The same goes for the the drinking party and due to that the episode succeeds in making it about more than just the mc's. Finally, there were some romantic moments but they were well spread out and Keisuke finding out the truth and (probably) becoming an ally is an interesting development.

Yo, the bit of basically soft core sex in episode 4 was quite the surprise. There was a bit too much blushing during the first episode but since then the mc couple actually feel like a realistic adult pair. They communicate properly and have grown to know the other person well so there is no forced drama for once. There is even some focus on the actual office work they do and the side couple is interesting too.

Hmmm..., I have always thought of it in a way similar to the Wikipedia definition. What we got was only very strong implication.
