Fantastic! I never doubted this would get a sequel, but great news to have it on the schedule.

Nice!!! It was starting to take too long for the sequel of this beloved and popular anime to finally air.

Great news...but I'm a bit worried. Being caught up with the manga, I'm wondering how much this second season will actually cover. There were also a few arcs in the manga that I feel dragged, but that could be a result of reading them as they were released. What I'm hoping is that the anime streamlines some of these arcs so we can get to recent developments in the manga as a good season finale, but I doubt they'd be able to do that without big cuts, so I'm honestly left torn.

This show is popular enough to warrant 3-5 seasons

You're not alone. I stopped following the manga because there is no story in it, just cute girls doing cos-playing stuff.

After 2nd season there won't be enough story to cover 3rd one, let alone 4th or 5th. And with the publishing tempo, there won't be enough for a long time.
