Back to blue jacket Lupin, eh? Tells me we're getting something similar in tone to the Part 4 and 5 TV anime.

If it's Toho, that means GKids gets it first, not Discotek. Anyway, want some Lupin hot sauce to go with it? https://lupiniii.club/index.php?threads/get-sauced-with-the-lupin-gang.937/

But that’s just who it’s produced by, all Lupin projects I’ve seen have been licensed by TMS themselves, who dubbed them and sublicensed it to Discotek for a home media release

Curious to see if this one follows the Mamo implications the other Koike films seemed to be building upon.

Also, I wonder if this will be dubbed by Discoteks Koike cast or the usual Geneon/tms dub cast.

Takeshi Koike´s first entry since 2019. The issue were always the plots, especially with the last 2 entries. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines "feature length" as longer than 40 minutes so all the previous entries were ones.

Wow, I didn't know it was so long since the last feature-length 2D entry. I guess Koike did OVA films with the rest of the gang, it makes sense Lupin himself would get the feature-length entry.

There are some exceptions, the Babylon film along with Fuma and the live-action they once had were through Toho and it's the main reason why those have been OOP for a while.

Dead or Alive & Nostradamus were confirmed through NTV so there's a good chance those won't last long either.

Plus with TMS sending The First to GKids and both Part 6 & Zero to Sentai, there's a good chance they could send it to one of those two instead while paying for the dub again and getting Keith Silverstein and the rest of that cast back since it's Koike-verse Lupin.

I've been a big fan of Takeshi Koike's Lupin adventures, so this is definitely welcomed. I just hope if it's feature-length and not just 50 minutes (which was fine for the previous ones), the feature has some kind of theme going for it.

Alas, seems it is not meant to be.

Always stoked for more Koike though!
