Man the update schedule for this series is sporadic at the best of times getting an unexpected 2 month hiatus is pretty rough.

And even when it does update, it's a toss-up between an actual continuation and some short side story. It's hard not to think that the author is struggling with the series despite its popularity. |

I have no doubt he is struggling. Ever since he decided this was gonna be a goofy slice of life series the guy has had no clue what to do with Yor, since having her running around killing people would clash with the series overall tone. |

Maybe, who, knows, the author have some personal issues which are not our (readers') business.
On the other han, Spy x Family started as a silly comedy about Twilght making up a family (hint the title). But apparently, as I read in social media, there are people who know HIS work bettter than him. And, for some reason, they feel they have the right to have their manga NOW. I can wait and also I hope everything is fine in Tatsuya Endo's life. |

I think they are just taking a regular break. It is thr holiday season after all. Many take breaks around this time. Especially to catch up with family and enjoy the holidays. It does not have to worry evryone.
I just hope they rest well and can comeback fully energized. |
