People only vaguely familiar with SciADV: How can I be negative about this to seem smart on the Internet?

People who know about SciADV: After Anonymous;Code they could be doing something incredibly cool and smart here.

Fourth. Elite was the third, while the second was the Steins Gate HD remaster (aka PS4/Steam version of game).

I must say your elitism is telling. And kinda funny, considering most fans easily admit series is in downturn trend for long time.

When one game in the series is more popular than all the other titles together you need to milk it for all you can.

Hopefully Steins;??? will be good.

No offense to the series as a whole, but I hope the anime series doesn't adapt this reboot. We don't need another Steins;gate anime.

I love Steins;Gate but I'm kind of curious how necessary this really is...and how much added content there will be.

That adaptation is filled with significant plot holes, may your words not be heard. They eliminated most of the hard sci-fi elements present in the VN (hell, even the ridiculously important infodump Kurisu gave in Okabe's university early on, which is the base for the entire logic of the sci-fi elements in the story).

Steins Gate needs a 3-cour slow burn treatment, we may even get a certain nearly completely omitted route adapted next time, if it happens. Then again, 0 is the one that really needs an actual adaptation, and not a spoiler[pseudo-sequel cramming in the story altogether without any narrative intricasies from the LNs/VN].

Besides all the negative comments so far, never played the original VN so this is my chance to play it. Can't wait!

This game is a reboot that was only recently announced. We don't yet know if it fills in plot holes or if an anime adaptation of this would even fix the plot holes left by the original.

I would have rather liked a sequel. There's plenty of room in the lore for it right?
