Gotta say, that made me emotional and nostalgic.

I’m loving this recent-ish trend of anime companies celebrating anniversaries with these newly animated takes on classic scenes (the Naruto video might be the gold standard), but I also appreciate the new scenes we got.

Happy Odaiba Day everyone! Can't believe it's been 25 years since the Chosen Children first arrived to the DigiWorld, time sure flies Very Happy
That short clip captured many of the most iconic moments and Butter-Fly never gets old (RIP Koji Wada), I've listening to that song for many years to this day, both in Japanese and in Spanish.
PS: I found it kind of interesting that at the end of the video there was a brief glimpse of the original Western logo for the original Digimon anime series.

Loved seeing the new animation, though admittedly things went waaaayyyy too fast for my taste. They could have easily focused on each scene a few seconds longer and filled the video with the entire song.

Still, always happy to see the OG Digimon Adventure get some love. Even 25 years later, it still holds up insanely well and remains my favorite television show of all time, animated or otherwise.

The Digimon Partners twitter account also put up a teaser for.... something Adventure related to be announced next year using a screenshot from the finale of 02. Weird how it wasn't just baked into the new animated trailer, but here we are.

I wonder if they are having any plans for Tamers.

I didn't think they could hit me any harder with Digimon nostalgia and then they prove me wrong.

I wasn't expecting anything from the new scenes. Butterfly so iconic. A song that never gets old no matter how many times you listen to it.
