Considering his previous health issues, and the hiatuses that Detective Conan often goes on, I'm surprised that Gosho would simultaneously release 2 series. I know he has a team to help him, but it's a lot of work all the same.

He has already written Conan finale at the hospital if something happens to him.

True but still, I really don't want the man to push himself too hard. Two series at once is a big undertaking...

Aoyama is not working on two series at the same time though. He is doing a few MK chapters now (probably three again like in 2014 and 2017) and then he will go back to DC. There aren't going to be MK and DC chapters at the same time.

No, he said he penned a draft for a final chapter, not that he wrote the entire "finale". And he said that he might still need to change that draft or that he might not use it at all, so this 6 year old draft might be outdated already.

It's you again.
He specifically indicates when he was hospitalized, he realized that death is real thing and he *can* get real close to it. Hence why he completed a draft of the finale. The idea here is that in case he cannot make it then or any other time, the story will wrap up. It will not end abruptly without an ending.
He has said over and over again that many things can change, but the real back bone of the story never did. And it never will. In fact, there was a moment very early on where he and his team specifically fleshed out the "main plot" and it has not changed since then. He can add 500 more new characters like he did with Akai's family, but they don't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Okay? Nothing what you wrote really contradicts the stuff I wrote, so I dunno where that hostile "It's you again" comes from.

You always nitpick people's comments like there is no tomorrow. It's not like this is the first time you showed up for stuff like this. The whole point of the comment is about how Aoyama has already had the ending in mind for years but only put it to paper during his hospitalization. It was always about the finale, not just one or two chapters. It was never going to change because it was decided long time ago. You are not getting the point.
