Yes, I think it was the first scene with Shinji.

Wish they were screening it dubbed as well, but that must be a logistical nightmare right now.

Coincidences are scary things as that’s exactly what my mind drifted to.

And I’ve never seen the movie mind you.

Watching this in a theater with other people sounds like a nightmare to me. First (and only) time I watched EoE, I almost threw up; hands ached from gripping blankets; I was actively weeping for like 15 minutes; when it ended i just yelled and then writhed.........

Ah, End of Eva, the perfect date movie. Bring your unsuspecting SO and enjoy several hours of awkwardness afterwards!

I wish it were playing around here. I'd love to see this on a big screen for once. Ah well.

I imagine it's quite the experience in theaters.

Why it will be logistical nightmare ?

It seems like the show exists in this weird limbo right now where the only dub they want seeing the light of day is the Netflix dub, which is... Kind of utterly terrible, mostly due to some very baffling script decisions that make it sound like complete gibberish compared to the original.

Now adays, with a decent sized TV set, I fail to see the point of going to a theater to see something available otherwise. Regardless, EOE was my first taste of the Japanese fondness of spoiler[everything falls to ruin and death] endings. I can't say I liked it very much.
