^It’s not that it becomes unwatchable but the Japanese soundtrack for the new series is VERY good. The replacement music just doesn’t have the same epic feel that a new Pokemon world needs. I don’t hate music changes. Some dubs have had acceptable music changes (Digimon USA had decent music) and some are just as good as the original (Street Fighter 2 the movie.).

No but scores they come up with are almost never good and ill-fitting alot of the time. It's made worse by the fact that Horizons soundtrack is genuinely really good (the JP tracks in general have always been but this one especially) and given the shows history it dosen't give much confidence that it'll be much better this time. I could live with the music being replaced (even if I think the practice is dumb) but it just sounds so bad even without comparing it.
