Never expected this to get a same-day simuldub!
Pretty solid cast though.

Dunno about same day but CR accidentally leaked that it’s getting a dub on their simuldub line up before they took it down.

Usually not at all my thing but this particular one kind of catches my interest for some reason so might give it a look.

I was quite pleased with the dub. The two leads feel pretty perfectly cast. Rae is just the right level of demented to be entertaining while still coming across as likeable. And Claire's cackle is pretty much on point with Jamie Marchi's Mitsuko Kongo in Railgun, which is one of the best haughty laughs, IMO.

The show also got a simuldub into Neutral Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Here in Latin America these type of simuldubs so close to the Japanese airing are very uncommon, so this was a surprise. I saw the first episode in Neutral Spanish and I was very impressed with Valentina Souza's performance as Claire, she used a similar tone of voice to the one she used when she played Meari Saotome in Kakegurui, with a bit of the tone she used as Chizuru in Rent-a-Girlfriend. While Ale Pilar did a great job as Rae, sounding more or less like when she voiced Kotoko Aihara in Itazura na Kiss (which was just dubbed this year), very different from her role as Princess Peach in the Mario Movie
