It's concerning to me how "the designs look good when nothing is moving" is the only positive I can muster from this PV. I've already forgotten the summary I just read; it's giving mind-numbing formulaic isekai vibes and with lackluster animation, I doubt there's anything memorable here.

Yeah, sadly, the animation isn't looking impressive, but at least Main's design is sharp. While the story does use some generic elements, the plot in execution isn't as generic as it sounds, and it isn't an isekai.
The preview did at least nail the overall darker tone of the series. This isn't one which is going to have much levity, especially early on. |

I like the design and voice of Myne. I'd be interested in getting a Figma or S.H. Figuarts of the character. Also, it's nice seeing Ryota Ohsaka's name in new anime. Really liked his early voice work in tsuritama and Blood Lad.
I hope one day we get a Blood Lad anime announcement that can bring back Ryota Ohsaka to the lead role in Blood Lad as Staz, like how he's returned to voice in the new seasons of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! |
