The trailer looked fantastic. Hopefully it puts people's concerns to rest about the animation

I wouldn't really say "put to rest", because while the trailer itself doesn't look bad at all, Hirano had made a tweet some time ago talking about how bad the production is, although he deleted it.

Season 1 was delayed a year and cour 2 was delayed by 3 months, so none of the prior cours were exactly smooth sailing.

I definitely see a downgrade in visuals compared to the first season, but I can live with it if the writing continues to be strong.

Looking forward to seeing a post-Eris Rudy...seems like he's still internalizing a lot. But it looks like he runs into Roxy's party and goes to school? With a very distinct elf girl?

It will be as long as they stick to the novel's storyline and not diverge from it.

A lot of stuff happens and a lot of time has passed in these arcs so best not to think too much about it
