This isn't surprising at all, as once it was announced that Sony had purchased Right Stuf, which had been Sentai's distributor/warehouse for years up until this news, I'm sure Sentai did not feel comfortable having its biggest competitor be in charge of distributing their products; imagine if Sony was in charge of distributing Microsoft's Xbox games.
I honestly am a little surprised it took this long to happen (I would have figured AMC would have started moving away from RS as soon it bought up Sentai), but this was an expected move, regardless.

Does anyone happen to know distribution solution's pricing schedule? I've seen some vlu rays from the distributor and I need to confirm whether the prices will become pricier or cheaper

I wonder if this will affect Sentai's deep discounted sales they have from time to time...

I really hope not I tend to wait for those sales to splurge on a couple of blu-rays.

Surprised RLJ isn’t taking over. They’re a home video distribution company also owned by AMC Networks.
It’s sad to see anyone pull their products from RightStuf. They’re one of the most trustworthy online retailers, and I have a feeling they’ll be slipping after this, given Crunchyroll’s awful online store.

Nothing's being "pulled" from Right Stuf. All this news is stating is that Sentai will no longer be using RS as its distributor/warehouse after March, after having used RS for years in that extra fashion, going as far back as when ADV was still around; Media Blasters even used Right Stuf in this fashion for a time.
If you ever bought anything from one of Sentai's website sales, you'd notice that the packaging was just like RS', except for the Sentai logo on the sides of the box, & the return address was literally for Right Stuf. That's all that's changing right now. Sentai products should still be available for purchase on Right Stuf after March.

“The last day to order Sentai's products from Right Stuf will be on March 24. The last day for Right Stuf to ship Sentai's products will be on March 31.”
This certainly sounds like Sentai stuff being pulled.

It makes sense for Sentai to switch distributors with RS now owned by Crunchyroll. I hope everything works out for Sentai and the fans.

Distribution Solutions is actually the company that handles RLJ distribution, so it does appear that it's moving under the same umbrella.
It's not 100% clear yet, but this might mean that Sentai productions will finally see distribution in Canadian retailers again.

I would presume that's for distributors, but I guess we'll see in a month if I'm wrong lol

I was curious how that would be handled. Still surprised it took this long to hear a resolution on who would be doing Sentai's shipping instead of RS, but I hope the new shippers pack well. Always like picking stuff up at their sales.

I'm wondering what impact this will have to any Sentai preorders I've made thru Rightstuf. Namely the ones that release after the apparent "Last day to ship is March 31st"

I don’t think this means RightStuf will stop selling Sentai products to customers, but it’d be extremely on brand for Sentai to force that.

Please consider remove the "Sentai Filmworks is a global supplier of anime and official merchandise" of the article, that's just a lie.

Looks like the article was updated to clarify, but this only means for wholesalers and distributors. Sentai's stuff will still be available for regular customers to order. Going to be interesting to see what this will mean for discounts and sales going forward, though.
