What that bundle trailer doesn't tell you is that buying the bundle saves you a whole 49 cents.

"Remastered" is arguable since they're straight ports of the portable versions of the games. Sure, they added more content, but also downgraded the graphics in places. They're just ports that happen to be a little cleaner because of the hardware, right?

I guess a remake of both games made from scratch would have been better, especially for P3 since the "remaster" is based on the PSP version, but from what I understand, despite the popularity of the Persona series, its development team isn't as big as it seems, maybe that's the reason why it took so long for these ports. Although a few weeks ago a rumor surfaced that a P3 remake is in development |

I sure hope so we see that Persona 3 remake! The P3P release that just released on steam leaves alot to be desired... I'll probably just play it again on original hardware. The Persona 4 and Persona 5 'ports' allowing high framerates and borderline uncompressed audio was nearly what I was expecting with the P3P release. Maybe not to the save level of polish, since they aren't obvious gonna get re-recorded voice over tracks, but. Hey! At least it's on Steam now for anyone who's never played it |

The 2 versions make this a hard decision.
On one hand, we have P3P, which has some enhancements and a new storyline in the form of social links while you play as the female protagonist. Which helps attract some players to the game. On the other hand, we have P3 FES, which had the epilogue, The Answer. Which in itself is a game. I really liked The Answer, but it may seem uninteresting to some. I'm a bit biased on liking FES, but I also bought it on sale on the PS3 store for less than $5 years ago. |

Here's hoping that pans out in the distant future. I know that combining P3P with The Answer portion of FES as it stands is not feasible, and P3P just feels incomplete without it. Wouldn't mind a remake of the P2 games as well either. I'd consider buying them if they did a new physical release for them, but digital is a no-go for me. I'm otherwise fine with keeping my PS2 iterations of the games for the time being. |

No idea what the average expectation is, but the last number I know of was 316 employees as of September 2021. And that's for Atlus as a whole, so the Persona team shouldn't even be half that. Also, these multi-platform versions seem to be handled by Sega; it's been a few years since P-Studio put out an internally developed title, so hopefully whatever they're working on is a big project. |

And the entire localisation team wasn't credited.

Well, I'm not that up on how the P-Studio works at Atlus (and SEGA), I just repeated some info I'd read in some forums. Still, between P3 and P4 there was a 2-year wait, and between P4 and P5 the wait was 8 years, game development has become more difficult since the transition to HD consoles, maybe we will have to wait longer for Persona 6 to be announced (though there're some rumors it may be announced this year). And speaking about SEGA, I wonder if Shin Megami Tensei V will be ported to other platforms, now that the 3 main Persona games are available on Nintendo hardware, I think it's fair that PS, PC and Xbox players can play SMT V |

While it definitely takes longer to develop games than it did back in the day, it's not fair to compare the gaps between P3->P4 and P4->P5; that team also made Catherine and didn't start P5 until after it was done, so it's more like a 3 year wait from P4->Catherine, then a 5 year wait from Catherine->P5. |

It's too bad that even though P3P came out more than two years after P3FES, it didn't incorporate FES in its adaptation, so now instead of having a definitive complete edition, P3 was forked into two branches. I prefer P3FES over P3P, but I'd rather have a combination of both. Ideally, I wish they'd remake the games with P3FES as a base, add on a few features and the female protagonist route from P3P, and maybe even add an adaptation of the epilogue for the female protagonist. I'd buy that for sure. |

IME most of media bundles tend to be (very slightly) more expensive than buying things separately. EG a bundle of 3 games at $19.99 each will be bundled together for $59.99, when the total cost individually is $59.97. Not a huge difference, but I'm sure it adds up. |
