I like that the art style has some Osamu Tezuka-esque designs in terms of the rounded look of the characters, and the style of eyes and noses.
The sci-fi elements are cool and the little robot looks cute. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this in the future (pun intended).

Pretty classical look. I hope they're able to execute addressing global warming well.

I almost thought Tezuka was the one who drew the character design until I remembered he's been dead for 30 odd years
The subject seems like something he would have supported anyway

It does look promising I can say that. I wonder which company in the US will pick this up? Will this be a Netflix (or Prime Video) exclusive assuming Netflix (or Amazon) pick this up? Or will GKIDS get this one (I'm leaning toward the latter)?

I thought it had a retro look to it, but I was struggling to figure out from where. It's nice that Studio 4°C are still being very unconventional.

The character/visual design is probably inspired by retro anime, including tezuka (though the name choice reminds me of Future Boy Conan), that said, I don't think its a one to one copy of any anime, or even western cartoon. It looks a bit like if you mashed up a more modern avant garde anime like Eizoken, Ping Pong or Tekkon Kin Kreet with an anime tamago project, plus a touch of 80s anime/tezuka.
