Figure it would get a game portion. Is this the first Trails mobile game?

No, Akatsuki no Kiseki was running from 2016 and just shut down this last year in May. It took place in Liberl, Crossbell and, most notably, the Principality of Remiferia, an area we haven't visited in an arc yet. From my understanding, it started out as canon but I'm kind of murky on whether or not it still is.

I believe the Kiseki wiki was working on translating the story arcs from the game:

The game is still running only the Switch and Playstation ports shut down.
