P.A. Works' hopeful rising era goes from adapting a niche seinen manga about an ancient Chinese tactician of Shu faction reincarnated at Shibuya and utilize his knowledge of war to help out down-to-luck but aspiring singers, rap artists, and band members that skyrocketed it's seasonal popularity last Spring with it's impressive overall presentation...
Collaborated with a gaming company Cygames on an original show where gangster maids are a thing and escalated to bloodbaths, twists and turns, and callbacks on Yakuza tropes... To now greenlitting a new anime about two men unwittingly raise a lost child found wandering around the streets and hoping it doesn't awake any potential romantic subtexts. (Which they may be unsuccessful regardless of their efforts unless... whatever backup writing plan they come up with.) For now, I'll include it on my Winter 2023 list. |
