Never heard of the story so I could be wrong, but this could be an interesting take on an isekai (if the story has those elements). A story from the perspective of the supporting cast of an isekai protag. If not, then the story still has some merit with its premise either way

While Angeline is a huge papa-con, at least in the manga I've read there's no sign of being Usagi Dropped.

This is not an isekai.
Also, in case anybody was wondering/worried, the dad does not date his daughter ... Anyway, I'm happy to hear this announcement. It's a fun, fantasy action/adventure with slice of life elements Last edited by Hal14 on Tue Nov 01, 2022 6:43 am; edited 1 time in total |

I just love this series (^,^ )! It is currently my favorite fantasy manga. I just adore the father/daughter relationship here. I figured it would get an anime, especially after Slow Second Life got one, it was just a matter of time. Really looking forward to this one. Hope it gets a good studio; I want the battles to really do the series justice.
This is pure fantasy. It's not an isekai. |

I'd love to say wonderful news given how much I like this light novel series, but have to temper expectations until it comes out whose making the anime. Good series can easily be ruined by a poor adaptation.

I’m surprised the manga still hasn’t been licensed in English. Hopefully JNC will announce it soon, preferably with print for both LN and manga.

There's also an overarching plotline that binds the above together across all the novel volumes, iirc. |

Sounds good as it is not another Usagi Drop and isn't even isekai. The father looks grizzled and macho as well.

One more for the spreadsheet. Not familiar with this one, but the comments here sound encouraging.

I remember reading a little of the manga and it was quite cute, but I wasn't sure how long they could stretch the story for. It was very nice to have proper family stuff though; even tho the daughter is kinda dad-con it was more like she just missed him heaps and was worried about him moreso than anything else, from memory?

Oh, this one. I've read about 25 chapters or so of the manga version, it is really good. Hopefully the anime does it justice...

Angie spends some time shopping around for a mother, so her attachment is simply adoration for the man who found and raised her. She does dote on him quite a bit, but not in an unseemly manner.
The light novels have been a nice, homey read with plenty of action scattered about. It should be a fun anime, but I don't expect much more than 7/10 unless the direction and studio are both outstanding. |

A father-daughter focused LN fantasy series? Interesting.
I hear the father has his own love interest too? |

He seems to at least had some interest in a fellow party-member, before he left his adventuring party. Where that person is now … |
