If there is ever a time to re-lisence the old series now for distribution and provide an english dub, this is it. We may finally get to watch the 1980's classic. Fingers crossed. Either way I am excited on this sudden revival. I guess Discotek in part helped in bringing this property back into relevency again with all of there amazing blu-ray Film and ova releases. Though I hope now with the apparent need to CGI everything and include modern political correctness doesn't take away from the whimisical, slapstick and charming and comedic original. But I guess will find out.

Still thrilled about this. I can actually start to hope for the old TV series to be put out once again, too. You better believe I'm pre-ordering every one of the UY movies and manga coming out.

Hope Crunchyroll picks it up and simuldub it. I never saw the original sub version but I've read great stories about it.
So many classic anime getting a new version or getting a 2nd season. Cant wait for Spice and wolf! fingers crossed its a full adaptation of the complete LN. 75 to 100 eps please. |

I Would rather had Crunchyroll license this anime, they might going to simuldub it as well. If Sentai license this, they probably just dub random anime and they not dub many shows they license. |

If CR picks it up they could dub it into Neutral Spanish as well, that would be pretty cool because, although Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha dubbed were dubbed into Spanish and became pretty popular, Urusei Yatsura never came to Latin America, there's an urban legend about a lost mexican dub but there aren't any evidences to back it up, there's an European Spanish dub but it was obviously shown only in Spain. If it does get dub in our language it would be great if some actors from Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha could voice some characters in UY. |
