Since I don't see any pictures of it, would be curious to know if guys dressed in miniskirt-length maid costumes was as much a thing at Anime Boston as it was at Anime Central the week before. (And we're not talking about effeminate-looking guys, either.) In general, there was more crossplay at Acen than I think I've ever seen before.

And is one of those cosplayers actually trying to pull off the Spirit of the Forest from Princess Mononoke? Very interesting choice.

I was just thinking I think I have seen this somewhere but I concur. Impressive.

Also slightly concerned on the explosion of CSM when the anime does air because I am seeing this cosplay everywhere already! I saw this at our local con this month as well Very Happy

The other half and I saw her on the last day. We think she modified the heels she was wearing because she was walking a specific way. Good on her on that.

Overall AB2022 was great. The attendees did a great job adhering to the mask policy. I'm sure some didn't like it but over all it looked like everyone was just happy to have the convention back after three years. I know the theme was Bento in Boston, but for me it was Return of the Otaku.
