Well, it sounds like a bit of Mahouka with a dash of School Battle Harem, but it could be fun.

Such an odd case here, with this series' manga adaptation having a completely different visual aesthetic from the light novel...
I know that such a thing isn't exactly uncommon, but this is one of the more extreme cases I've seen in a while, lol.

Anyway, seems like it might be neat. I'll keep an eye out for more news on the anime as next year draws near.

yeah the discrepancy is massive LOL i wonder how that happened.
I came here ready to comment on how this novel looks like something from like 10 years ago and got distracted by how different the manga looks.

I actually wanted to say the same thing. The story does feel pretty old school like something that came out around early 2010s.

This. When I saw that title and that LN cover, it looks like it's from the same breed as Chivalry of a Failed Knight, Asterisk War, Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle, Spirit Chronicles, or Bladedance of the Elementalers but it's apparently is actually new from July 2020?

Legit, I thought "okay, where's the isekai tag?" because this is such a throwback.

Trends never die, they're just hibernating until the new life cycle.
Are we gonna witness the massive resurgence of "little sister" theme as well? Twisted Evil

I wouldn't mind the anime adaptation adapting the manga's artstyle...although I know that nearly all LN anime tend to adapt the LN artstyle.
