Now to wait for all DLC to be canned because yet again this was a wet turd of a game. Honestly what were they thinking with this game.

Couldn't get the manga published? They conveniently cancelled the manga due to the game being bad on the salesfront or it may be a case of publishers being overwhelmed by new and existing manga.

The game didn't sell that badly. It wasn't a sales juggernaut but it wasn't a massive failure or anything. And it reviewed decently. Some hardcore IM@S fans got mad about it, but they get mad about everything, and it wasn't really a big controversial thing or anything.
Seems like it really was just other circumstances. |

I think of several possibilities why the manga was cancelled before it started:
* The artist wasn't good and didn't meet Bandai-Namco's criteria and standards. * The artist suddenly got ill or had an accident. * A scandal over the artist past or what they did now. * The story was too complicated to make into a manga since it combined four different Idolmaster franchises, meaning many characters to write and draw. |
