What I really want to know is when do we get a Blu Ray release of 3.0+1.0?

Or a nice box set. Or both.

I second this. More specifically for me though, I really just want a copy of the final movie on bluray. I wasn't a huge fan of Mari's new VA, so I think I prefer the Funimation versions of 2 and 3.

Maybe Anno can now make some new anime that isn't Eva-related.

But with more Eva money he might treat us to some more Japan Animator Expo shorts.

Anyone asking Anno "Is this really the end of Evangelion? Are you done with it for real?" didn't watch the movie.

He ended the franchise in the best way possible. Let the book close on Evangelion for good. And let Anno be free and happy to work on his Tokusatsu passion projects.

I imagine he’s plenty busy with Shin Kamen Rider.

I would welcome more Eva projects with or without Anno if they were explored and handled in a compelling manner. It would be a breath of fresh air to see Anno actually return to the anime medium with a new non Eva project as well.

I doubt they'll ever happen, but anime adaptations of the manga continuity and Evangelion: Anima would be neat. A movie set in the time gap between 2.0 and 3.0 would be nice too.

I still haven’t seen it. I’m hoping it gets a theatrical release here in the states. It suck that as the final film in the franchise it was the only one not to receive a theatrical release

Wonder what exactly does he mean. I mean, all Evangelion stuff has been done by him but several authors have provided their own alternative takes to the narrative so is there a chance spinoffs might been released like Gundam where Tomino left and went back?
