Didn't know this was a problem. It is Teacher in the light novel and manga. They should have used that instead.

I reviewed the first novel back when it first came out int English. A lot of its essential details borrow heavily from other successful titles, so there's little to nothing that's truly fresh about it, but the interaction between the two main characters is appreciable and the action scenes should entertain if it gets any kind of decent animation budget. I never got around to reading past the first novel, so I'm curious to see where the story goes beyond the introductory stages.

An isekai where there’s little to nothing that’s truly fresh? How unprecedented.

Smartarse cracks about its lack of originality aside, it does sound like it could be entertaining enough if executed well.

Worth mentioning that the Drama CD had an entirely different cast (so far):

Fran: Inori Minase
Master: Satoshi Hino
Amanda: Michiko Neya
Jean: Tetsuya Kakihara
Forlund: Toshiki Iwasawa
Zelyse: Mitsuki Saiga

I have found the light novel series to be very entertaining. I hope you continuing reading.
