I assume the thicc Hashira woman is going to play a big role in this new arc.

It is a no-brainer at this point that all of the Demon Slayer manga will be adapted into anime, the only variables will be air time and format.

The Swordsmith Village arc can easily fit into 12-13 episodes, although the arc after….might take 24-26 episodes

I wish this could premiere late this year, but if they haven't announced when, I'm guessing it will be sometime next year. After that arc, knowing how many chapters will be left to adapt, I bet there will be two cours followed by a big finale movie that I think would have a real shot at breaking Mugen Train's insane box office record.

Not this year, I think.

ufotable have their hands full with no less than three movies in active development. The animation team responsible for Demon Slayer will be working - continuing their work - on the upcoming Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu movie.

Team A is already busy with production on Mahoutsukai no Yoru movie (or a movie series) for Type-Moon.

Conservative estimate is probably Spring or Summer 2023 based on the 12-15 month long gap between the seasons and Mugen Train.

Ufotable is probably swamped with demands for an earlier release date considering kny is like the most streamed anime in japan at this point. With the manga finished, they can catch up to the source, but there is probably a lack of new material to regularly keep interest, compared to before when they stretched the movie. Also views typically decline the longer the wait.

This doesn’t really apply to ufotable. More than the story people hypes for the studios work.

The right poster is a bit of spoiler with what she can do...at this point I hope they just adapt the rest of the manga.

I'm surprised they didn't announce a compilation film version of the Entertainment District arc.

The whole thing is gonna be adapted, it's just a matter of how long it'll take them to complete it. This isn't coming out till at least mid next year the earliest.

Oh, wow. That's all? I had sort of assumed we were going full Bleach/Naruto/One Piece length here.
