It kind of sounds like they just have a "best Asian movie" category that doesn't focus on gay or lesbian characters?

Please tell me something I don't get. What LGBT elements are there in "Power Rangers Dino Fury" or "Belle?" They really don't seem to be there so what are they even doing this? Could someone please clear this up for me because I'd really like to know.

Can’t speak for Belle, but the Green Dino Fury Ranger, Izzy is a lesbian, and has a girlfriend.
Who actually shows up in later episodes after her introduction which is nice.

I think there's some confusion going on here because it's two different award ceremonies being talked about in the article. GLAAD gave a nomination for Power Rangers for it's inclusion of a lesbian Power Ranger in the latest season. A completely different award ceremony, Gold House & Cape, gave Belle an honorable mention for best animated feature but GLAAD wasn't the one who nominated Belle. It's a different group.
