For the last few weeks, I've run into a problem with the podcast version of ANN Aftershow. If I pause the show, it starts over when I hit play. This would be annoying but workable, except that I can't scrub to the point where I was, nor use the 10s/30s skip buttons. Since I tend to stop and start podcasts instead of listening continuously, this has made it impossible to listen to the episodes.

My phone is a Google Pixel 5A and I'm using the native podcast app.

When you say "native podcast app" you mean "Google Podcasts" ?

Or do you mean the app we have embedded on the webpage ?

Can you try an old episode that came out before this problem started ?

I tried and found that older episodes won't play or download at all.

I've replicated this problem on my phone as well. I'm talking to Bleav to try to get it fixed. They say it's a google podcast issue, but I think it's something to do with our podcast in particular (Other Bleav podcasts I've tried work fine).

I did try downloading the file first, and when you do that, it works fine. Not a long term solution, but possibly something you can do in the interim.

I download the episodes as a matter of course, so I'm not sure if downloading vs streaming is the issue. I did notice that I can pause and start where I left off a few minutes later, but if the app reloads, the episode plays from the beginning.
