Imagine being a big enough fan of this series that you need 3 different subscriptions just to watch it. What a mess. I'm glad the show's shtick wore off on me half way through season 2.

Obviously, they’re doing this to tease people. |

I am surprised but not shocked by this development. Hopefully Sentai also picks up season 2 for BD release.
Why? Unlike Netflix, Sentai could actually bring back Funimation's dub cast. |

This is a great pickup for Sentai! Looking forward to it.
Thank goodness it wasn't picked up by Netflix again. |

S1 - Funimation

For people who outside English speaking countries, it’s not the most ideal situation. Yes they’ll be streaming this worldwide minus Asia, but Hidive only has prices in USD, they almost never have non-English subs or dubs, and their apps are garbage.
But Sentai literally announced the movie license at the same time as S3?

Speaking of Season 2, Sentai now has a reason to pick that up for disc and to redub it.
This article needs an update, that's a pretty big detail to leave out. Last edited by NJ_ on Tue Dec 28, 2021 2:22 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Crunchyroll and Funimation has season 1, Netflix has season 2 and now Sentai has season 3 and a movie. What a mess. |

For overseas people, this feels bad not only because of the lack of localization there, but also in the dub selection. Actually, I just know about non-English dubs by Sentai made for the Latin American market. However, unlike Crunchyroll/Funimation, who work with studios who could maintain the Netflix dubs in both Spanish and Portuguese, this does not seem to be the case for Sentai in both languages. At least for the Hispanic market, they dubbed anime in almost every region but Mexico, where season 2 was dubbed. For the Brazilian market, I actually don't know, since they dubbed everything in the language in a single studio, but located in Rio de Janeiro instead of São Paulo, where the season 2 was dubbed. However, what annoys me more isn't that "possibility", but the simple fact that they never ever added any of the Sentai's Portuguese dubs to Hidive. The Hispanic public also has very few of the Sentai dubbed content at the plataform. This include NGNL Zero, which has dub in the language but the series doesn't have there. And since this month, it's impossible to watch Zero legally in Portuguese since Netflix recently lost the movie rights there from Sentai. |

I suppose if Sentai also released season 2 on home video, the ideal legal method of watching this would be on Blu-Ray(I assume Funimation put out a Blu-Ray of season 1?).
