I knew Saori Hayami would be voicing Yor lmao. Was hoping for a younger VA for Anya (like they did for Naru and Dororo) but whatever
Split cour is good

Hayamin as Yor makes too much sense.
Atsumi Tanezaki also sounds good as Anya.
I hope being split-cour helps with the production.

The split cour is actually really good news, not only it gives more breathing room for the stressed and inevitably over-worked animators ( yes in case the PV did not leave you an impression already , this series require an abnormal amount of action series and character animations in order to shine), but would also give a chance for more manga sales from the anime watchers.
That being said, anyone want to take a guess at the stopping point of the first and second season?

Before this announcement, I assumed that a single cour would end with Vol. 4's big story arc. Now I have to think about the second cour...

I see I'm not alone in thinking that Saori Hayami is perfect for Yor.
Also, some pretty good Anya facial expression action in that trailer.

This will hopefully get a high level dub in terms of casting and direction time will tell.

It makes sense as she can do the gentle and caring voices well but also switch to mature and stone cold quite easily. I can see why she was cast.
I'm looking to seeing this and need to catch up on reading the volumes. Hope its a good adaptation that boosts manga sales.

Can's wait to watch this, the SxF manga is one of my top faves among recent series!
