Cool! The series has been pretty insistent on the casts stories being over and done with in both series (or at least Akane's) so it'll be interesting to see what they cook up for this movie!

Normally a film sequel is bad news for Western fans but Gridman was a big enough hit that it'll likely get theatrical screenings over here.

A crossover movie arguably makes more sense than a full series, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with.
Looks like Gridman is going back to his SSSS design, so I'm curious what the reason for that will be (other than it's how they usually animate him and will make combining him with DynaRex easier). |

While I can't help but roll my eyes a little at the next-season-is-a-film trend, there are positives: Higher production values for a series that has already had two excellently-animated seasons, and perhaps a more succinct story-line(Dynazenon dragged a little, at times). Excited to see what this next chapter holds!

I'm not necessarily surprised by a cross over, but these aren't the characters I would have expected considering how Dynazenon ended.
