I really hope this happens, I was never able to buy the DVDs and the fact that the Blu-ray release will include all the dubs and will be in HD makes me want to buy it even more.

When it was running I had to wake up really early just to watch it. I did like it when they started to give it at night time, but still I missed episodes. In one of the episodes I was watching and was completely sucked in. A hurricane alert happened and it was over, they had already made it to the finish line and I was like what happened. The shipped was blown up but they won, I really want it to actually happen, fingers crossed.

Apparently they're going to include the Dutch dub. Hell yeah, I'd love to see that! I only caught glimpses of this show when it aired on Jetix, but I never really watched a full episode.
Could be interesting!

I own the DVD set, but would gladly purchase a BRD set.

I snagged my DVDs for a song some years back, but I'm glad to see someone trying to release it again. It looks like the second set is pretty pricey nowadays and it's a show worth putting out into the world again.

Great for the fans, but never saw it myself (though I wouldn't mind trying it one day). Only reason I know about it though is from the (promo?) AMV featuring Ayumi Hamasaki's ayu's EURO MEGA-MIX

You definitely should, loved watching this as a kid. Thought is was a western show though and not an anime haha.

FINALLY. I knew he will get it done eventually, but never knew just how many years that would be. I initially bought the UK DVDs for some extra resolution. That I got (assuming the europeans got a good video source, their DVDs would be a tad sharper...... which, with anime, in the past was rare). But sadly the UK Para-Dice episode is missing 2-3 seconds of footage due to a glitch in the editing process. I was always bummed about it, and now I could finally pay for a perfect version.

I read on Savin's Twitter that all non-English+Japanese dubs are undergoing a 25fps>24fps transition, perhaps for the sake of standardization. I would take a Blu-Ray50 just fine, but I guess 24, the old cinema standard, it is.

The Shout! Factory DVDs aren't really all that great. It's the Jetix U.K. broadcast version, which, although it includes the full Japanese version (complete with the little bits of English in the chorus) of "Chance to Shine" (as opposed to "Never Say Never", which was used for the Jetix U.S. broadcast version), it's a shortened 1 minute version, when it should have been the full 1:30 "TV size version". Personally, I would have been willing to take the hybrid Japanese/French version (which is 1:30, and has the entire chorus in French) if it meant we could have the full opening (heck, I would even be willing to have it include the 1:30 version, even if it meant the credits would be in French; yes, I would even be willing to take a release that had at least the French version as well as the English version). IMHO, the Shout! Factory DVDs weren't at the level they could/would/should have been, and I'm hoping this Blu-Ray release will feature the show the way it was meant to be shown, but considering S!TW's YouTube channel has the 1:00 Japanese opening, I'm hoping that the 1:30 versions (Japanese/French and full Japanese with bits of English) are at least included as bonus features...
