Wow. This looks surprisingly non-grimdark for Urobuchi. I'm really interested in seeing how this turns out.

That's one unbelievably stacked production crew - hopefully it can stick the landing.

Looks like a visual and sakura feast. Almost like a musical with parkour dance numbers.

I guarantee you this is going to pull a Madoka Magica-style trolling. Just watch.

Feels like it's been a while since Urobuchi had done something, so it's cool to see him back with a very S-tier staff.
Not sure about the parkour animation. Although the parkour reminds me of the dance teams in Kamen Rider Gaim.

Trailer looked good. Araki not working on Shingeki no Spider-Man no more so he had to work on a new parkour film. Dat Yugioh cast minus Shison. I like the past connections between the staff members.

Okay, so obviously Urobuchi and Araki are two very distinctive creators, but I don't really have a sense for these things -- do you think their strengths would complement each other, or should we be worried about this ending up muddled?

Even though I wasn't a big fan of Attack on Titan, I was a bit dissapointed WIT dropped the series before it finished but damn have I been a huge fan of their offerings ever since then.

All I could think of is that scene from The Office
Gonna have to pass on this one, the parkour angle is a bit too cringey for me. Looks pretty tho.

Araki's buildings and birds... gives me borderline PTSD from AoT. (If you know, you know.)
So... the entire AoT crew, + Urobuchi, + Obata + fantasy... sports? It seemed like the least likely genre for this group of creators. Pretty sure humanity will still be in danger anyways during the unfolding of the plot.
Not going to lie though, parkour seems like a really... cringey, if I can say that, choice of a sport to do this. Fun fact: I'm Greek and we have exactly one (1) published Greek manga, called R.u.N. (Remember ur Nature... yeah...) which is essentialy a shounen parkour battle manga. It's... ok, they tried I recognize the effort. But my conscience about parkour is forever ruined.
Anyway, Netflix is bringing out all the big guns. Kimetsu no Yaiba has proven that MONEY can be made out of anime movies and now they're going all out. Hopefully this will be something worthwhile enough to push the industry even more forward to global audiences.

Visually it doesn't look very good, very artificial looking and the colours are garish. Maybe it does well on a narrative level.
