I tried so hard to watch it but I just couldn't take it. It's pretty much a harem surrounding an angsty emo pretty much taking place in the same set location the whole through.

It wouldn't surprise me if Mike passes the second season dub off to another director he'll already be busy directing The Heike Story and Attack on Titan dubs around this time.
