Remake Ace 3 but with fewer branches and a new ending.

I'd like to see AC3 remade, but with all the routes intact. The version we got of AC3 in NA was Robotech'd for lack of a better word.

AC7 eventually turned out to be a good game but it felt like a slog in the beginning. I ended up spending more time replaying the AC5 preorder bonus then I did AC7.

Modding community on PC apparently does a good job with this.. I may need to check it out.

Next-gen only, eh?

It'll be interesting to see what they can do with the PS5 SSD and probably also what sounds like Sony campaigning for full VR implementation in regular flat screen games as an optional mode for their new VR system.

But I imagine that where the SSD is concerned there might be larger levels and more on-screen geometry. The game on PS4 is probably as close to photorealism/stylishness as possible already. So I guess they'll devote themselves to full 4K 60fps, which of course would help for scaling the engine for VR.

I guess the Dualsense feedback features will also be fun.

Namco released the first Ace Combat game in 1992. The last numbered title, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, shipped for the Xbox 360 in 2007

Why does it say the last numbered title is 6, but then goes on to talk about Ace Combat 7, the actual last numbered title in the series?
