Episode 12 (finale)
Okay, I did kind of have fun with it, I liked certain aspects, but others had some real problems. Show to most compare to is In Another World With My Smartphone, there is a number of similarities, especially with over powered main character, with the difference that I think this show tried to focus on more everyday world building aspects, although I don't know if it managed to be all that successful.
These overpowered main characters that can do everything, really need to stop, especially something that bothered me is that it comes with a harem that can do things, but he can do anything they can and thus they lose their purpose in the team. It is like highlighted in Konosuba, which feels like a direct parody of these shows, where Aqua cries when Kazuma tries to get her to teach him her supposedly one redeeming skill. To be fair, Death March was not all bad in this area, he did often delegate jobs out, especially to the animal girls, and I was fond how it was like him cultivating their abilities of these ex-slaves. Pochi and Tama were cute, but I kind of feel that was detrimental to their characters, because it felt like most of the reason they were there for, like their jobs just there to make them cuter. With Liza on the other hand felt much stronger, if a bit underused.
On the harem, there character was kind of put as a bit self proclaimed, but I think Arisa was probably the best pick as his partner, because it felt like she was able to offer a surprising amount. And, even if she did not look at it, she was actually an adult in the same way he was, rather than I think the shipping with the young teenage girl soldier. Arisa I think in general offered the most interesting aspects, probably having more of a personality than the main character, with strengths and weaknesses as well as an understanding of politics. The main character was really a little too perfect, a total Gary Stu with his martial arts and gun power, that he somehow got from Lizard people, but no one else is aware of. And people really do complain about a certain black swordsman.
The world building, could also be a little shallow. I no doubt think the author put some thought into it, I just don't think it quite connected to the main character enough. It was interesting that he could get an overlook of entire areas, with effects similar to a game, and it has me thinking about my own thoughts, Fantasy economics has been something I have put quite a bit of thought lately. In the end it feels like it was largely used to make the main character look super able, get to some cute girls, and exposition. Re:zero might not be the most similar comparison, where it gets super rough rather than the softer parts of this, but I think it rarely tried to use world building to make the main character look inherently better, and there was always another reason to things rather than get to cute girls, rather the cute aspects turned out to be a piece of a puzzle rather than the picture. You can feel a difference focus. Like clearly the focus of this last arc was so witch girl was not sad, despite anything else. It may have been certainly more interesting if it was about helping the kiln master, like it had the confidence that it could carry a story without resting on a new cute girl.
I am saying the show would have been better if it felt less of a need to keep trying to assure us that the hero is the best, that each member of the party could have a place that would be irreplaceable, with their own individual thoughts. Actually, that last part this show did much better than Smartphone, up to the show deciding to end with everyone deciding to sleep on the main character. I will admit that the ED was pretty good, although maybe could have used a bit more interesting animation, the OP even grew on me. Maybe a few surprises with its setting could have helped, and kind of had me interested if it was going to present something later that could take me by surprise, because I feel like it might be able to.
Anyway, for a rating I go with Decent (6/10), I would not a all say that I lost my time with it. It could be that I can find myself easily drawn into these type of shows despite my criticism of it, but I think that it did have its redeeming aspects... that I actually will miss it. Although, perhaps is because I don't think it had yet done something as interesting as it could.

Death March is one of my favorite franchises too. Light novel, manga, and anime. Only wish Arifureta had gotten an anime as good as Death March's.
Because I love the franchise and the characters, I also want to see a continuation of the anime series. But DuskyPredator is right, the odds are against it. But you never know, a lot of late night anime series are getting second, third, and fourth series. So perhaps it is just a matter of time, got my fingers crossed.
