Don't do that. Don't give me hope.

What is this?! I don't think they'd do a continuation since there's still hardly any manga past what the anime adapted.
I don't know of any previously announced projects it could be though. The best I can think of is an OVA or a video game.

Lol! Said the same thing. I am far removed from any idea of a HxH continuation in anime form, or even manga form at this point. Just let my hopes stay dead....

and now I'm sad because leorio's voice actor died and won't be able to take part in whatever this will end up being.

At least the 1999 Leorio is still around (Hozumi Gouda) but I will of course miss Fujiwara if this does seem to be a HxH OVA/movie.

I see Han and Ise in the title together and HxH was my first thought. How far has the manga gotten since the anime ended? Not enough for me to be interested because pain comes with that.
If it is HxH.... seeing Leorio in that image is reminding me of FujiKei.

Well... it's barely moved and Togashi didn't written even a single chapter since the end of 2018 - but you can still make at least one 13-episode season from what remains.

Watch it be completely unrelated to HxH

If it isn't related to hunter x hunter that'd be a lot of build up for nothing (though whatever new thing it is, here's hoping it's good) and if it is... what could they possibly be doing?
The manga hasn't made THAT much progress and even then Gon and especially Killua aren't involved at all. I can only imagine it's some sort of recap OVA which... why would we need or want anything like that?

There's actually a lot of material to at least make an anime series or an OVA of about 12 or 13 episodes, also taking in consideration that there's a lot of text, so I imagine that they could adapt all the explanations and stuff into something dynamic and enjoyable to understand. Well, anyway I don't expect some continuation, it would be dreaming too much, but I wanted to clarify that at least there's enough chapters to make one.

Don't get your hope up folks....as manga readers we know there's not much ,material to really continue on. I also fear people might get bored of the current arc.

Late Keiji Fujiwara was a great loss for anime in general, but let us be honest, Leorio was barely present for the majority of series, that it seems like he isn't even one of the main characters - unfortunately.
As for this project itself, it is most likely nothing.

It could also be a stand alone movie, i mean this series already got 2 non canon stand alone movies so why not another.

How about this, Togashi abandons the Manga, as from what I've heard it is mostly just speech bubbles. Instead he becomes a script writer for the Anime, and they just continue onwards. It's a lot less work than drawing the Manga, he could just lay in bed if he wants and write it on one of those small laptops and email it to the studio.
