I heard about her death yesterday. Her death got a lot of attention and coverage on mainstream news and social media, I wasn't aware she lend her voice to anime particularly Studio Ghibli's works.
RIP!!!

I only knew her as Maw Maw from Raising Hope so I was kinda confused to see her face on ANN. May she rest in peace.

The last role I saw her in was Zorya Vechernyaya from American Gods, though of course I remember her Studio Ghibli roles fondly. RIP, she'll be missed.

I never realized that the woman who played Frau in Young Frankenstien was also the one who played Dola in Castle in the Sky.. Sad to hear she passed.. I loved both of those characters that she played.
My condolences to her family and friends.

Goodbye, Dola. I hope there's lots of loot up there for you. [long moment of silence]

So great that she lived a life so rich in experiences, even anime fans have reason to pay respects to Cloris Leachman. She was quite a woman.
