It's nice (and bizarre, honestly) to see the story finally conclude, but my heart skipped a beat when I saw the Daisuke because DNAngel Brotherhood would just be so glorious.

Time for a DN Angel anime reboot? I remember this series being pretty popular when it first came out but then the manga went away for awhile and it seemed like it just faded into the background. It seems Discotek used to have the rights to the anime but those rights have expired now and no one ever rescue licensed the manga after the days Tokyopop had it. I remember enjoying the anime at the time it came out but I haven't seen it in years and I never kept up with the manga but I would love to see a new anime version made.

Holy moly, a Sugisaki series actually ending? I've been meaning to get caught up on the manga and finish out my collection, so this might be just what I need to finally push me.

Wow, I didn't know this series was still running. It's been so long since I read what was out (probably around the first hiatus). Viz holds the license now and re-released the series digitally, right? Would be real nice if they would print these new editions.

today i learned: dn angel is STILL GOING.
i honestly had no idea, i remember buying a few volumes of the manga in the mid-2000s when the anime was big, but... wow! from a quick look on a bookseller site, it seems they only got up to volume 15 for the english translation. i guess it wasn't a big seller. :/ |

Oh, it was, but like MANY other popular manga, when Tokyopop went under, the licensed English translation was abandoned, that is all. I'm sure the scanlators are all over this though... |
