The opening date is subject to change due to conditions at the time, of course.

This trash cost 60 million so it can make its money back easily. Even in our post-apocalyptic present.
Ah, Capcom. You only sell your rights to absolute masters.
In other news. Cape Town still looks like the blandest shooting location on earth.

I'll be honest, the monster hunter world part of the trailer didn't look that bad. But the inclusion of the army thrown there in some kind of wizard of oz-esque tornado and get isekai'd...
It just looks too forced.
I mean if I wanted to see some losers thrown into a fantasy world and try to survive to it, I would watch an isekai anime, not this.

In a recent Famitsu article, franchise producer Ryozo Tsujimoto said he has no idea what's going on with the movie (probably because he's too busy being a producer). I'm not surprised. God, this looks so dull

Seems like it'd be really hard to fudge up a movie that's simply about hunting giant dinosaurs, but it sure does look like they managed it,

There are those who think poorly of this trailer. To me,it looks kinda interesting. It looks like a fun watch. It looks like it's going to come out sooner than we expected. Hopefully,it'll be worth the wait. It looks like it,but we'll just have to see.

If I was really into Monster Hunter, this might have really annoyed me. But...honestly kind of looks like good and silly fun. Kind of ironic in some ways having these soldiers isekai'd in a Hollywood movie. And better than what I kind of expected which was straight up just having monsters invade normal Earth. That's obviously a threat here, but the movie should just take place in that setting.

Might actually do fine. And honestly it weirdly makes me think of this as a live-action Gate adaptation.

People keep watching his dreck, Capcom keeps hiring him, he keeps hiring his wife. Circle of life.
