Just bought the Space Warrior Baldios TV anime on Blu-Ray via Rightstuf taking advantage of a 10% off coupon to lower the price.

Picked up Code Geass Season 1 DVD today. Glad I managed to snag it, since I wanted to have it before I went to Anime Midwest next week.

From the Barnes & Noble sale I picked up Full Metal Panic!: IV LE, Mind Game, and the Night is Short, Walk on Girl. They all shipped in a box.


Non-anime Spider-man into the Spider-verse from Amazon which took almost 2 weeks to get because Amazon shipping sucks and they don't care. Plus in bubble mailer with no slip because...you know amazon.

R.O.D. the TV 2-5
They've been sitting at a local 2nd & Charles for months, waiting for a BOGO sale. I probably would have bought them earlier if they had the whole set, but so would have someone else. Now I have to look for budget singles from Ebay to get the last three. I think prices have been reasonable.
Now thank me. As I have bought them, someone is sure to relicense the series and put out a budget release.

I'm back from Anime Midwest! Besides some very sore feet and a decent KM log on Pokemon GO, I have swag! Although, some of it I got from two nearby Half Price Books, but still counting it.

You probably don't need to worry about that, since it's an Aniplex show; AoA already put out a briefly-available and expensive Blu-Ray version back in 2011. R.O.D. is probably never coming back into print over here again, so getting the Geneon singles is absolutely the way to go. The prices for discs 1/6/7 on Amazon Marketplace aren't too bad, either.

There was NO WAY I was passing up all of Clannad on BD for $30... and getting LC&OD! Take on Me for $12, and all of Beyond the Boundary, TV and movies, for $20 total... wish I could have afforded the rest of Hayate, but I dont know if the rest of it is as strong as season 1 anyway...BanG Dream was a long-time want, looks like it mixes elements of K-on! and Love Live!...speaking of which, my pre-order for the Japanese BD of LL! Sunshine: Over the Rainbow should ship from Japan in about 2 1/2 weeks!

Season 2 is as good as 1. Then they made the disastrous (IMO) decision to ditch Norio [the narrator] and it became a much more mundane show. Still pretty good, but missing a big spark. Plus they time skip major bits of story between each further installment.
I mean, Cuties is good but I haven't read the manga so I only have vague ideas of who the new girls are and why they're "poor" and all living in small communal housing.

But don't worry about missing the sale on those. They'll all be at basically the same prices during their next big sale.
