Can you offer the option to turn off the pop-out panel that appears when I visit the site with my phone? If I try to position the cursor at the beginning of a line when editing, more than half the time it triggers the pop-out. That's very annoying, especially since I don't need yet another menu to navigate this site.

Can you give a screenshot ? I don't know what "pop-out" panel you're talking about.

I was worried you meant that... menu.
That menu should only be appearing when you are pushing at the top left of the screen. Not merely on the left...
It's the only menu on mobile. How would someone browse the site without it ?

It's also available by clicking the "hamburger" icon. Isn't that enough?
Maybe I'm weird since I only visit the forums where I can use the navigator at the top of the forum like ANN Forum Index -> Site-related -> Talkback. I read other content like reviews and such by following the links in the forum.

Oh, I see what you mean. I actually understood properly yesterday, so I tested it, and for some reason it wasn't expanding for me when I clicked the side of the screen, only when I clicked the hamburger icon.
Today it's acting the same for me as what you are complaining about. I've seen this behaviour on other websites and mobile apps. I think it's a common feature, so probably why our designer included it. I'll ask about it.
