I wish we could have gotten to see the new art style in the trailer instead of just the key visual art. I also hope the English dub will keep Butterfly this time. If you're complaining and yet still watched all the Tri movies regardless, this is on you too.

I would've preferred if the movie came in this year's August, but knowing Toei this was expected. I hope that after the success of DBS: Broly Toei may consider releasing Digimon worldwide, specially here Latin-america since Digimon tri wasn't dubbed (though there are some rumors that they're considering it), which is weird considering that other franchises got dubbed recently like DBS, Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon Crystal and One Piece.

Oh boy. They dragged out the 15th anniversary project 'Digimon Adventure Tri' for so long that by the time it finished, not even a year later we already have an announcement for the 20th. Hopefully it's just one film this time, so that if we do get a 25th anniversary film, we at least have a 4-5 year break.
Also, I totally understand that Adventure 01 was the one that started the whole thing and the one people have the most nostalgia for, but 2020 is also the anniversary for the start of Adventure 02. I mean, so many major things happened in 02, that you just can't ignore it to the extent they did in Tri and seemingly here as well. |
