Nice, i always wanted Crunchy to be involved in LN market , but does it mean that we have to create another acccount for JNC or can we link already existing account together like VRV ?

You will be able to link an already existing JNC account to your CR account or use your CR account to login and auto create a JNC account (probably, not yet confirmed)

We are working on that integration now.

This press release (and article) seems to lack important detail.

Normally, Crunchyroll is $6.95 per month and J-Novel Club $4.95 per month (total $11.90) which makes the $14.99 per month an odd value proposition. I'm assuming the $14.99 price includes the Premium+/Premium version of one of those two? Confused

Yes, it includes 5 other services/memberships. Odd to leave that incredibly important detail out >_>

What's going to be the deal maker/breaker for me is whether they'll offer Funimation's full library of shows, or if it'll only be those available on VRV. Even though VRV contains a large portion of Funi's library, there is still a sizable chunk that is only available on Funi's main service, and many of their shows don't feature subtitles for music and on-screen text. Watching Ping Pong, Drifters, or Devil is a Part-timer is practically impossible on VRV, and while more recent shows have the proper on-screen subs, the majority of their back catalog doesn't.

Will be region locked to US subscribers, or can UK members also benefit from this?

My question is that I'm subbed to CR through VRV now, is it possible to keep my VRV sub (since I actually do use more than just CR, but its Premium on CR if I decide to go watch whatever isn't on VRV's app), and also get that "super" sub tier?[/list]

The article leaves out a lot of details, like all the other subscriptions. You get CR/VRV (same thing really), AniUta, JNC normal membership, Utomik, Munchpack snacks, and Rightstuff discounts on select items.

at the yearly price, broken down by month, CR is $6 and JNC normal membership is $5.40 technically. AniUta is $5 a month. Not sure about the others since I've never heard of them. But in total CR/JNC/AniUta standalone total to $16.40 a month. so for $15 you save $1.40 a month + the other stuff.

I wouldn't recommend the pack unless you already use most of the services already.

For me it's not worth it since I pay for JNC premium. If you're into reading LNs heavily, it's still gonna be cheaper to do separate subs since the credit discount for premium members saves more money in the long run.
