Plot is super generic, and character designs are decent. Nice to see more Black characters centered in anything, though.

Glad to have more variety of talent on the anime landscape. And the plot wouldn't hit the generic threshold until he gets sucked into another world full of waifus.

This is good for the people working behind the project as well as for the creator of the comic this upcoming show is base on. I can imagine this person must especially be excited to see his work animated. Reading the summery I am reminded of that one anime I have heard of title Basquash from studio named Satelight with the idea of the characters playing a sport using machines. However, I personally do not feel as interested in watching it so far. Reason being is that I am not too into Urban Fiction, but I will see.
