Maybe it's just me, but aside from a few of the cover illustrations, Hamazura's character design never seems to match his description from the light novels. He always manages to look far too lanky for a guy who purportedly works out as much as a pro athlete.

Hyyyyyype! Fall premier like the last two as I was hoping. I wonder how many books they're gonna adapt, it better be 2 cour.

The original designs are all too lanky IMO. Even Acqua doesn't look as intimidating as he's supposed to.

Oh man I hope we get Othinus in this new season but I am not sure they will reach that point even if the show is 25 episodes

I did the maths at one point.. she's like session 7 or someething >.<

It's weird to realize how many years away we are from storylines that introduce some of the franchise's most popular characters.
Personally, I'm hoping they get to the point where Misaka Worst shows up. She's such a great foil for Accelerator.

One of the magazine scans shows a quote that is from Vol 22. I seriously hope they're not trying to adapt a dozen novels in a 2 cour anime...
Then again SAO is going to do that so...

Yeah that's very concerning. They need two cour just to get to volume 20. Need to tack on another cour to do WWIII properly, IMO.
Love the visual though.

Yeah, I really don't want to see them rush it like that. I think 3 eps per LN is the absolute minimum for a decent pacing without serious content removal.
To be fair, the quote they used "our world is not so weak that it needs to be saved" taken out of context isn't relevant to the story. It sounds so much like so many of Touma's lines that I didn't remember exactly when this one was said until I saw someone mention it. Maybe someone just though it was a cool tagline for the magazine article.

Welp. Season 1 already cut half of two novels and only adapted 6 of them, compared to Season 2 adapting 7, so I guess they're going 9 novels now.
What's the worst that could happen, important things being rushed and nobody caring about the characters and their stories?
